MISSION

Create awareness to the public to be mindful and receptive in their experiences within the organizations in the hospitality industry

VISION

Create and share public awareness about the challenges staff, operators, and owners face daily in the hospitality industry. The focus is to share positive and consistent messaging throughout social media platforms, banners, and other marketing materials. The content can be shared amongst nonprofits, restaurants and other collaborators no matter location geographically.

COMMUNICATE

Maintaining positive and gracious requests will help create a great experience for you and the individuals around you 

FLEXIBILITY

Patience can be key, especially when unexpected occurrences arise. Maintaining composure when a reservation is behind or food is running late will be returned with gratitude 

STAY POSITIVE

Even when things are rough, maintaining a positive mood can affect the events around you and your party. Keep that smile a comin' 

EMPATHY

When ya get down to it, we are all humans - things are happening in the background that we may not be aware of. Be mindful of other individuals' situations

 AS AN EMPLOYER 

COMMUNICATE

Precise and clear communication with your team can greatly improve relationships and employee retention.

FLEXIBILITY

The ability to have flexibility with your staff is a great attribute; whether it be scheduling or job placement in the workplace.

STAY POSITIVE

Creating the energy in the workplace is a team effort, staff look to management to help create this. Leading by example is key.

EMPATHY

Remember, that even though "leaving it at the door" is a good practice, some issues aren't as easy to shake - supporting your team through hard time can go a long way.

COMMUNICATE

The ability to discuss boundaries and needs with management and having clarity expressing needs with coworkers can greatly improve your shifts.

FLEXIBILITY

Helping out where needed and the ability to ask for help makes for a great service. Having an open mind on the complexity and flow of the restaurant can support this.

STAY POSITIVE

Whenever we are "IN THE WEEDS" that is when maintaining a positive outlook comes into play! Always keep the silver lining and remember this shift too shall pass.

EMPATHY

The ability to put yourself in someone else's shoes (even if they're greasy) can change how interactions occur between coworkers. Give it a try!
